Pawhuska resident Billy Lynn Todd, 75, passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2023.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 13, 2:00PM, at Kendrick McCartney Johnson Funeral Home in Pawhuska. Pastor Brett Thomasson, First United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow of the Pawhuska City Cemetery.
Bill was born in Pawhuska, the son of Edward Baker and Bernice Pauline (Spencer) Todd, on May 13, 1947. He was a graduate of Pawhuska High School with the Class of 1965. Bill served in the Oklahoma National Guard from 1966 – 1970. On November 22, 1969, he married the former Diane Phillips in Pawhuska.
Bill worked as a butcher for 50 years. He loved his community and was always involved. For numerous years, he was on the Pawhuska City Council, where he served as Mayor. He sold insurance for a time and also owned and operated the Pawhuska Bowling Center. He was currently seated on the Planning and Zoning Board of Adjustments for the City of Pawhuska.
Surviving family include his wife, Diane; son John Pryor; daughter Tara (Marty) Hendren; siblings Clell Todd, Annie (Billy) Conner, Randy Todd and Lyndol Carter; grandchildren Rylan (Samantha) Pryor, Abigail Pryor, Danielle Lookout, Matthew (Texanna Coleman) Miller, Katelyn (Tommy) Hillsberg, Penelton Lookout and Madison Miller. Great grandchildren Piper Pryor, Parris Easley, Brooklyn Hinman, Makinna Mundy, Noah Krebbs, Oliver Lookout, Cade, Cain and Cara Hillsberg, Trenton, Alexis, Maci and Mason Pryor; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Delorkis Miller, Jerry Todd, Tuck Todd and Chris Todd; daughter Cynthia Pryor; and grandson Christopher Miller.
