Charles Wayne Shedd

Charles Wayne Shedd, 69, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 at his home in Wynona, OK.

Chuck was born March 10, 1953 in Hominy, OK the son of Leonard Alvie and Dovie Madeline (Marcum) Shedd.  On September 9, 2008, he married the former Denise Claudette Pavey Walker in Harrison, AR.  For many years, Chuck worked as a Case Manager at the Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy.  In his spare time, he enjoyed watching his westerns and loved his horses.  He was a member of the Barnsdall Nazarene Church.

Survivors include his wife, Denise, of the home; brother, Gary Shedd of North Carolina; step-children Sara Walker of Broken Arrow, OK, Shaun Walker of Woodward, OK, and Steven Walker and wife, Machelle, of Prue, OK; numerous grandkids, great grandkids and nieces and nephews.  Chuck was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2PM, at Kendrick McCartney Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska.  Pastor Jim Johnson of the Barnsdall Nazarene Church will officiate.  Interment will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.
