Donna Rae (Cole) Bryant

Donna Rae Bryant passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at the Oklahoma Surgical Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born February 28, 1946 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Willie and Annie Lee Cole. On September 8th of 1967 Donna married the love of her life Arlie Ray Bryant.

          Donna worked many years as a seamstress at the Pawhuska Sewing Factory before working at the Pawhuska Schools till her retirement. Being a great seamstress, she loved Arts and Crafts and would take trips to Arkansas to the arts and crafts festivals with her sister Hazel, and in later years her nieces. She also had a love of shoes and would often times get every color in a pair of shoes that she liked. She also had an affinity for big glasses. A member of the Church of God, she loved going, seeing, and doing! She and her husband loved going to the movies on weekends and traveling all over the United States, including her favorite trip to Hawaii. She was a daughter, wife, mother, friend, and a great aunt to all of her nieces and nephews.

          She is survived by her brother Jim Cole, sister Janet Tilley, sister Hazel Brockman, Nieces and Nephews: Michelle Cochrane, Mike Cochrane, Beverly Black, Sharon Tenant, Gary Brockman, Larry Purtle, Marcia Carroll, Pam Meyer, Jimmy Cole, JR., Theresa Helmer, Lisa Hailey, and a host of great nieces and great nephews along with great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Also, special friend Teresa Carnagey.

          Donna was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, daughter Christy Shay Bryant, sisters Dorothy Mae Lowe, Bessie Maudine Cochrane and Bonnie Purtle, nieces Linda Lowe and Martha Slone, and nephews Ronald Lowe and Donald Lowe.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2:00PM, at the Pawhuska City Cemetery.  Rev. Pat Hailey will officiate.
