Evalene Stephenson Obituary

Longtime Pawhuska resident Evalene Stephenson passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 in the Pawhuska Hospital.  She was 94 years old.

 

Evalene was born May 29, 1927 in Kingfisher, OK the daughter of Jame Mee and Lulu Mae (Voreis) Lebow.  On March 1, 1951, she married Russelll Leroy Stephenson in Bentonville, AR.  He preceded her in death July 26, 1985.  Evalene attended school in Foyl, OK.  She was a telephone operator, as well as a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family.  She loved working in her garden, taking care of her plants and flowers.  She especially loved her dog, Princess.

 

Survivng are her daughter, Karon Stephenson and Robert Biggs; grandchildren Krysis Schulz, Joey and Porsha Schulz, Patrick Riggs, Sheleigh Biggs, Katrinia Brixie and Andre’ Wright, Randall Brixie and Adam Stephenson.  Great grandchildren Jesus Uribe, Julio, Ceasily, Julissa and Jaleesa Moreno; Donnie Brown, Kevin, Joey Jr., Jacob Justice and Anna Schulz; Chelsey Riggs, Breiaunna Owilli, Kendydal Hamilton, Alahundra Hamilton, Jordan and Daxton Wright, Brenley Hall and Aubrianna Brixie.  Great-great grandchildren Jesus and Jaun Carlos Uribe; Maximiliano Moreno, Naomie Mae Riggs and Zaimari Farley.

 

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 7, 3:00PM, in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.  Pastor Scott Kohnle will officiate.  Interment will follow.
