Floyd Albert Kyler, of Pawhuska, went to be with the Lord at 11:52 AM on February 14th, 2024. He was 75 years old. He was born on September 25th, 1948, in Mooreland, Oklahoma to Wanda Harris Kyler and Williard A. Kyler.
After growing up in Chester, Oklahoma, the family moved to Pawhuska following his father’s death in 1954. He served in the Army from 1967 to 1970.
Floyd married Patricia J Parker on February 10th, 1971. They were married for 53 years. They had two children, Bobbie Kyler and Willard Kyler. He was a jack of all trades, nothing he couldn’t do. He operated heavy equipment, semis, and could fix just about any old truck. Many knew him from his full-service gas station, Kyler Services. He didn’t know a stranger and made everyone around him laugh. He loved spending time with his grandchildren- Amber Kyler and Andrew Mason Kyler. He spent much time with them teaching them how to hunt and fish. On February 17th, 2022, his new best friend was born - great granddaughter Londyn Kyler. The bond they shared was indescribable. He will be missed greatly by many and forever hold a special place in everyone’s heart.
Surviving is his wife, Patti; son Willard Kyler and spouse Richard Douglas Kyler; daughter Bobbie Kyler Fernandez; granddaughter Amber Kyler; grandson Andrew Mason Kyler and wife, Katelin; great granddaughter Londyn Kyler; sister Carrie Kyler Stump and husband, JD; brothers Don Kyler and wife, Clara and Randy Kyler and wife, Lynette; sister-in-law Marilyn Kyler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Floyd is preceded in death by his Parents; sister Helen Brown; brother Delbert Kyler, and nephew Jerod Don Kyler.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, February 19, 10:00AM, at Kendrick McCartney Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska.
