Gene Milleson Obituary

Gene ‘Pops’ Milleson, passed away on February 18th, 2022 to eternal life in Heaven.

 

Gene was born March 6, 1941, in Anderson, MO to Loyal & Lora Milleson.  Gene was preceded in death by His Parents & Brothers: Delbert, Donald, Clayton, James, & His Beloved wife of 27 years, Barbara L. Milleson, & sons, Scott Staab & Tucker Staab.

 

Gene Joined the USMC in 1961 and retired in 1982 as a Captain after serving in the Vietnam war. He was a man with diversified interests and set out to succeed in all He conducted. For years He ran the local Radio station KXVQ in Pawhuska, OK and was the friendly local Tax Accountant. Gene held various college associate degrees and never stopped learning. He loved people, life, & God. He was an active Church Member and in local organizations and was proud to serve in them. He appreciated his community and always gave back.

 

Gene is survived by his brother:  Wilfred (Charlotte) Milleson and His Children & Grandchildren:  Son - Aaron (Jennifer) Milleson, Grandchildren Ben & Ellie

Daughter – Kari (Milleson) Huffman, Grandchildren Denver & Allie Huffman

Daughter – Kelly (Staab) Griffin (Eric) Grandchildren: Aaron J (Maddie), Jordan (Danielle), Joseph & Robert

Son- Tyler Staab

9 Great Grandchildren and a score of beloved, nieces, nephews and relatives.

For all his good friends and acquaintances, we shall always fondly remember his warm & positive personality, his giving nature, as well as his love for great conversations. He always said, ‘It’s never goodbye, it’s until we see each other again, talk to you later!”

 

A Memorial of his life with full military honors will be announced for a later date
