George Bible, Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that the Bible family announce the passing of George Donald Bible Jr. He passed away on Saturday November 19, 2022 from brain cancer.

Donnie was born on March 7, 1960 to George Donald Bible Sr and Dorothy Dunn Bible. He graduated high school from Dewey and went on to work for PSO for 38 years. He was a jack of all trades and master of all. He could do it all from sewing and making homemade pies to overhauling an engine and building a house. Donnie enjoyed fly fishing, gun smithing and relaxing in his tipi. Every year he looked forward to spending the July 4 holiday with family, especially his grandsons.

Donnie was married to Melissa Murray Bible of Pawhuska for 22 years. They have two children, Stephen Bible and Kaitlyn Bible. Donnie also had two daughters from a previous marriage, Lacey Calhoun married to Shannon Calhoun and Lindsey Norman married to Ryan Norman with two children, Noah and Reid.

Donnie was preceded in death by his father, George Donald Bible Sr and survived by his mother Dorothy Wesley, his sister Shannon Pond and husband Floyd, his brother Fred Bible and wife Elizabeth and their children Lewis, Tess, Joseph, Micheal, Donnie and Jacob.
