Gregory Lee Strahm

Greg Strahm, 63, of Pawhuska, OK, died unexpectantly in his home on March 19, 2023.  He was born July 14, 1959 to Sam and Barbara Strahm in Hiawatha, Kansas.  Greg graduated from Pawhuska High School in 1977 where he participated in football, wrestling, and baseball.

Greg wrestled on scholarship for 2 years at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.  He completed his Business degree at Oklahoma State University.  Greg returned home after graduation and worked as a Pawhuska firefighter.  He retired from there after 22 years of service.

Following his retirement, he worked for the Pawhuska Public Schools for several years and was a part-time referee for youth sports.  Greg was a member of the Elks and enjoyed assisting with the Hoop Shoot and the Take Down Club.

Currently Greg was ranching with his brother, Bryan on the Strahm Brothers ranch.

Greg is survived by his brother:  Bryan Strahm (Alicia) and sister, Andrea Enloe (Kim); nephews:  Sam, Silas (Haley), Kyle (Haylee), Rhett (Chyanne), and Cashman; and niece:  Leah (Zach).  He had 3 great-nephews and 3 great-nieces:  Kasen, Waylon, Beyer, Bobbie Jean, Weslee Grace, and Victoria.  Greg was thinking he was going to have a whole new crew to help him work cattle.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 24, 11 am, at the First Baptist Church of Pawhuska.  Interment will follow at the Pawhuska City Cemetery.
