James Edwin Heflin

James E. Heflin passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Broken Arrow, OK.  He was 93 years old.

Mr. Heflin was born March 10, 1928 in Barnsdall, OK the son of Robert Russell and Gladys Odessa (Chapman) Heflin.  On January 12, 1953, he married the former Martha Belle Sweeden in Pawhuska, OK.  She preceded him in death March 9, 2009.

A diesel mechanic, Jim served in the US Army during World War II.  He loved spending time at his boat dock on Bluestem Lake in Pawhuska.  A man who could fix anything, he loved collecting and fixing clocks.

Surviving are his son, Steve Heflin and wife, Tracey; daughter Gayle Farley; grandchildren Derrick Heflin, Tamra Brinlee and Brian Farley; six great grandchildren; sisters Wanda Bayer, Bess Duston and Sharon Olsen; and brother Jack Heflin.  In addition to his wife, Jim was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held Monday, February 14, 10:00AM, at the Pawhuska City Cemetery.  Pastor D. Goudeau will officiate.  Interment will follow.
