James Malaske Obituary

 

James “Jim” Edward Malaske, age 85, of Pawhuska Ok, passed October 25, 2022 in the Pawhuska Hospital.

James “Jim” Malaske was born in the Pawhuska Hospital to George and Florence Malaske on July 14, 1937.  He attended Pawhuska Schools. On November 6, 1981, he married Juanita Sue Miller at the Osage County Courthouse, Pawhuska.

Jim started working as a carpenter with his dad and continued to work with his brother until retirement.  He loved hunting and fishing with his family and friends.   Jim and Sue owned a boat house at Bluestem Lake for many years where many memories were made with family and friends.  He was involved in the Elks Lodge.

Jim was preceded in death by his brothers Roy, Jack, Bill (his twin brother), Jerry and 1 sister, Clara.  He is survived by his wife Sue Malaske, sister Mary Dettman (husband John), sons Jimmy Malaske Wells (wife Audrey) of Wynona, Ok, Joey Wells (wife Jackie) Azie, TX, Scotty Wells (wife Roxie) Odessa Tx and one daughter CeCe(and husband ), 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. With Sue, he had 3 step sons - Randy, Phillip, and Chris, 2 step daughters Angel (significant other Wade) and Teresa (husband Mark), Grandchildren RJ, Tonya, Josh, Hannah, Lauren, and 7 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10AM – 1PM, on Friday, Oct 28th at Kendrick McCartney Johnson Funeral Home Pawhuska Ok.  Graveside Services will follow at 2pm in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.  Rev. Brett Thomasson will officiate.
