James Lee Milleson

Longtime Pawhuska resident James Lee Milleson passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Tallgrass Estates in Bartlesville, OK.  He was 86 years old.

James was born September 22, 1934 in Cyclone, Missouri, the son of Loyal D and Lorah Lee (Clark) Milleson.  On March 27, 1954, he married Dossie Ann Hartness in Dewey, OK.  She preceded him in death June 13, 2010.  A pipeliner, James was a member of the Pipelienrs Local Union 798.  He also owned J & D Plumbing.  He worked his whole life to take care of his family.  His hobbies were his grandkids, following them in their activities.

Surviving are his daughter, Lesta Morrison and husband, Brent; granddaughters Molly Morrison and Sarah Dotson and husband, Zackery; brothers Wilfred Milleson and wife, Charlotte, and Gene Milleson; as well as other family and friends. 

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2:00PM, in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.  Rev. James Hager will officiate.  Interment will follow.
