Jay Harrison Dean, Jr.

Jay Harrison Dean Jr, “Jaybird” passed in his home on February 23, 2024 at the age of 67.  

Jay was born Sept 14, 1956 at Claremore OK, the son of Jay Dean, Sr, and Josephine (Jump) Dean.  He attended Buck Creek Schools, graduating from eighth grade and from there attended Bartlesville Schools. He lived in Pawhuska and worked in the oil field.  Jay loved his children and grandchildren and became Dad to any and all who needed him.

He is survived by his Mother Josephine (Jump) Dean and his six siblings, Anita Miller, Connie Sullivan, David Dean, Denver Dean, Daniel Dean, Rendy Dean and his children Marie Dean, Nick Dean and Denver Dean.  He was preceded by his father, Jay Harrison Dean.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 28, 10:00AM, at the Wakon Iron Chapel, Indian Camp, in Pawhuska.  Interment will be in the Dean Family Cemetery.
