Judy Lavon (Austin) Roberts

Judy Lavon Roberts gained her wings on June 15, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones.

Judy was born January 1, 1947 to Raymond and Georgia Austin in Okemah, OK.  She grew up moving from town to town.  Her daddy was an oil man that traveled state to state.  She graduated from Sulpher, OK in 1965.  She then moved to Pawhuska and married her “rock”, Lindy Roberts.  They would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on July 15.

Judy was a die hard OU Sooner fan.  She was a season football ticket holder for 35 years.  She also enjoyed planting flowers outside and being with her grandchildren.  She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Pawhuska. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Lindy Roberts; her children Tommy Ray and Athena Dancer, and Tamie and Darin Hollister, Mike and Shawna Roberts, and Staci and David Bergman; grandchildren Ryan Hollister, Trent and Josie Hollister, Tye Dancer, Kyle Dancer and Dax Dancer; Blaine and Autumn Roberts, Shelbie and Steven James, Amanda and David Fenton, Cameron and Gracie Roberts, J.J. and Skyler Roberts, Ciara Roberts, Tanner and Kyndal Bergman, Haydon Bergman, Clayton Bergman and eight great grandchildren.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She will be deeply missed by all that loved her.

Services will be held Wednesday, June 21, 10:00AM, at the First Baptist Church of Pawhuska.  Rev. Justin Turney will officiate.  Interment will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.
