Linda Thomas, age 65, passed away on October the 21st, 2021 due to heart failure after a heart attack at Saint Francis hospital located in Tulsa, OK.
Linda was born on April 28th, 1956 in Bartlesville, OK to Lola and William Dingman of Pawhuska, Ok. Linda was a nurse and worked in home health for many years before retiring. Linda was happily married to Bob Thomas for 27 years at the time at her death. Linda and Bob met during high school in Wynona, OK. They married and settled down in Pawhuska, OK. They adopted four grandchildren and raised them together until Linda passed.
Linda is survived by her Husband Bob Thomas, three brothers Billy and Chance Dingman, Donnie Wright, and her sister Shirly Lovell, Her son John Butler, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her Parents Lola and William Dingman, her sister Barbara, her late husband, Melvin Butler and her son David Butler.
Linda’s hobbies included: camping, fishing, sewing, cooking for her family and anyone else who was around, playing card games, watching western shows on TV, and enjoying time with her family. Linda was a wonderful and caring woman because she spent every day of her life caring for others. Linda will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 1:00PM, in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Brother Ralph Stanford will officiate.
Lynn Baptist will be hosting a dinner after the service for all friends and family to attend. Lynn Baptist church is located at 318 Midland Ave, Pawhuska, OK 74056.
