Loretta Jayne (Jones) Ashurst Bourlier

Loretta Jayne Jones Ashurst Bourlier was born May 18, 1934 to Evelyn Dora Jones and Winfrey Ashley Jones in Bartlesville, OK.  She went to her heavenly home on January 19, 2023.  She was preceded in death by Virgil Ashurst.  She is survived by husband, Bob Bourlier of Norman, daughter, Vickie Epperson (Mike) of Bartlesville, son, Steve Ashurst of Pawhuska, stepdaughters, Marilyn McAuliffe (Tom) of Norman, Gina Harmon of Norman and Lora Bourlier (Richard) of Moore, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and other relatives.

Loretta was a beautiful woman full of energy.  She was employed by the Osage County Assessors’ office, the former Wrights’s dress shop and other avenues of employment in Pawhuska.   She enjoyed fishing, golf, crafts, baking, horses and kittens.  She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Custer and  the First United Methodist Church of Pawhuska where she sang in the choir and caught the eye of Bob Bourlier.  They married at the church,  February 14, 2000.

A graveside service will be held January 26, 2023 at 1PM at the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Kendrick McCartney Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska.
