Martha Wynell (Lowe) Slone

Martha Wynell Slone, 65, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022 in the Pawhuska Hospital.

Martha was born January 4, 1957 in Pawhuska, the daughter of Auldridge “Al” and Dorothy Mae (Cole) Lowe.  A graduate of Pawhuska High School, Martha married William Howard “Bill” Slone on June 7, 1977 in Pawhuska.  He preceded her in death June 1, 2019. 

Martha had worked in the healthcare field for years, serving as a nursing home administrator.  In her spare time, she enjoyed cruising around the streets of Pawhuska, bowling and painting ceramics.  She especially enjoyed traveling around with Bill, listening to his country & western band play at the different places.  She was a member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

Surviving family include her daughter, Summer Slone and Rusty Fields; son Dustin “Bubba” Slone; sister Janet Tilley and husband, David; niece Lisa Hailey and husband, Pat; nephews Ronnie Lowe, Jr., and Randy Lowe; and numerous aunts, uncles and other family and friends.  In addition to her husband, Bill, Martha was preceded in death by her parents, sister Linda; and brothers Ronnie and Donnie Lowe.

Services will be held Friday, March 25, 2:00PM, at the Church of God, Pawhuska with Rev. Pat Hailey officiating.
