Pauline Anne (Boyd) Patterson

Pauline Anna Patterson passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at The Journey Home, Bartlesville, OK.  She was 101 years old.

Pauline Anna Boyd was born April 27, 1921 to Earnest Paul Boyd and Etta Almeta Faunce Boyd in Stillwater, OK.  She was the first of four children.  Her siblings were Millie Ferguson, Stella bland and Oscar Boyd.

Pauline had two daughters, Rose Marie Yount and Dorothy Lucile Smith.  She was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  Grandchildren include Eddie Lee Yount (Pauline), Terry Mouser, EJ Smith (Angela) and Mark Smith.  Great grandchildren Kelly Chouteau (Kevin), Kristy Cosby (Bryan), Kyle Yount (Erin), Casey Reese (Kyle), Parker Smith, Jonah Smith, Shane Smith and Hannah Pottage.  Great-great grandchildren Kassidee Chouteau, Lane Cosby, Wyatt Cosby, Laynee Reese, Huck Reese and Augustus Cosby.  She is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews.

Pauline was a homemaker and avid gardener.  She and husband, Lee, owned and operated Patterson TV.  Later in life, she worked as a cook for the Pawhuska School system, where she retired from in 1986.  She loved going to the lake and spending time with her family.  She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Fun Fact:  As a child growing up on the Stillwater area, Pauline grew up and was childhood friends with the original “Pistol Pete”, Frank Easton’s, children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Etta Boyd; husband, Lee Patterson; sisters Millie Ferguson and Stella Bland; and daughter, Dorothy Lucile Smith.

Services will be held Friday, May 27, 10:00AM, at the Calvary Baptist Church.  Rev. Dustin Baker will officiate.  Interment will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.
