Pawhuska resident Priscilla Kay Chambers passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at her home. She was 64 years old.
Kay was born September 21, 1957 in Pawhuska, the daughter of Art and Argene (Shook) Henderson. She was a graduate of Pawhuska High School with the Class of 1975. A homemaker, Kay had also worked as a caregiver for several around Pawhuska. She also enjoyed cooking for all the cowboys after they worked cattle.
Surviving family includes her mother, Argene Henderson; daughter Kate Huddleston and husband, Jess; son Lee Chambers and wife, Haylee; sister Sharron Smith; grandchildren Jase Huddleston, and Kylee, Kynlee and Wylder Chambers. Kay was preceded in death by her son, Will Chambers; brother Ricky Henderson; and father, Art Henderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials in Kay’s name to the WRCA – Crisis Fund, 408 SW 7th Ave., Amarillo, TX 79101 (wrca.org).
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022, 1:00PM, at the Chambers Family Cemetery located north of Pawhuska.
