Richard Allan Gevaert

Richard Allan Gevaert, 68, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021.

Rick was born December 16, 1952 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the son of Theodore Irvin and Helen Gertrude (McCrory) Gevaert.  On August 1, 1980, he married the former Jo Ellen Florence in Tulsa, OK.  Rick had received his Associates Degree in Natural Resource Management.  He was retired from the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, where he had served for 30 years.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved spending time with his family and friends. 

Surviving family include his wife, Jo Gevaert; brothers Gary and wife, Debbie, Mike and wife, Ann, and Steve and wife, Amy; his sister Barbara Sherman; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Rick was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 13, 10:00AM, at the Pawhuska Church of Christ.  Jake Bruno will officiate.
