Robby Joe Bright

Robby Joe Bright passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 in Pawhuska, OK.  He was 42 years old.

Robby was born November 7, 1978 in Pawhuska, the son of Donald Joe and Linda Dianne (Gray) Bright.  He attended school in Pawhuska, graduating from Pawhuska High School.  Robby worked for the City of Pawhuska as an electrical lineman.  On November 12, 2013, he and the former Tonya Marie Hutson were married in Eureka Springs, AR.  In his spare time, Robby enjoyed spending time hanging out with his family and friends at the lake, as well as singing karaoke. 

Surviving is his wife, Tonya Bright; Son Trevor Bright; daughter Kaitlyn Adkins; parents Joe and Dianne Bright; sister Christie Thompson; niece and nephews Desmond, Dallas, Danae and A’Myla Thompson and Stephen Walker; sisters-in-law Jessica Walker and husband, Brandon Walker, and Whitney Hutson; brother-in-law Eddie Shangreau; mother-in-law Cherri Shangreau; and father-in-law Kenny Hutson.  Robby was preceded in death by his grandparents Almeta Brown, Sherman Brown, Charlie Gray, Laverne Bright and Alvis Bright; and aunts Janet Fowler and Sandy Parker.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 16, 10:00AM, at the Kendrick McCartney Johnson Funeral Home.  Jake Bruno will officiate.  Interment will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.
