Obituary
Thomas Lee Minney, 64, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in the Pawhuska Hospital.
Tom was born October 25, 1958 in Pawhuska, the son of Bob L. and Mary Mae (Longley) Minney. On June 2, 1989, he married the former Jayne Thornburg in Bartlesville, OK. Tom worked for Blake Stone for several years, first at the Pawhuska quarry, then at Sedan, KS. He then went to work for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, working with the road crew until his retirement. In his spare time, Tom enjoyed working around in his shop, cutting firewood, hanging out with his friends and spending time with his dogs. He adored his grandkids.
Surviving family include his wife, Jayne; his mother, Mary Minney; brothers Bill (Jodell) Mathis of Nowata and Roger Minney of Pawhuska; sister Susan LeadingFox of Ponca City; step children Kelly (Kelly) Ramey, Leslie (Les) Potter, Samantha (John T) Manning and Jason Anderson; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Bob L. Minney, and a great granddaughter.
