Zachary Penn Pester passed away peacefully at The Journey Home in Bartlesville, OK on August 2, 2023 at the age of 38. His last day was spent surrounded by his family, friends and wonderful caregivers.
Zach was born in Pawhuska, OK on March 13, 1985. At a young age, Zach accepted Christ as his Savior. He made a profession of his faith at First Baptist Church, Pawhuska. Zach had a passion for reading and studying the Bible and loved to share with others. Although he had many earthly struggles, his hope was always in Christ.
Zach attended Pawhuska schools and graduated with the class of 2003. After high school, he attended Rogers State University and then Oklahoma State University until he left to pursue his truck driving career.
Zach loved people and made friends wherever he went. He captured a room with his funny, magnetic personality. He loved music, movies and good food. He adored his nieces and nephews.
Zach is preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Shirley Muller.
He is survived by his parents, Keith Pester and Paul and Shelley Hudson, his two brothers and their wives, Seth and Hannah Pester, Will and Jeri Pester, his nieces and nephews, Lillian, Karter, Beck, Penn, Silas and Mercy, grandparents, Dale and Janis Dilbeck, as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and many, many friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 12, 11:00AM, at the First Baptist Church, Pawhuska. Rev. Hance Dilbeck will officiate.
